Suraj Kumar Naik is a Mechanical Design Engineer with 2.37 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as a Researcher at a mechanical design engineering company. Suraj has a Master of Engineering degree in Engineering Design from Anna University, Chennai, and Government College of Engineering, Tirunelveli. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai, and Raipur Institute of Technology Chhatona, Mandir Hasaud, Raipur. Suraj has gained a lot of traditional and non-traditional manufacturing process knowledge during his Engineering Summer Internship at Steel Authority of India Limited. He learned about casting, forming, machining, and joining processes, as well as unconventional processes such as grinding. He was part of the team that produced the heaviest producer of rail structures all over the world and exported them to many countries, following the initiative of Make in India by the Prime Minister of India. Suraj also gained knowledge about making large heavy work equipment such as boiler parts and large cylindrical vessels during his industrial visit to Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. He learned to use large machinery, including heavy 3D CNC machines, heavy work-carrying cranes, and advanced joining and surface finishing equipment. Suraj's TechStack includes Research Scientist.
